Welcome to Rooksdown!

Rooksdown Community Association works to offer facilities and activities for the residents of the Parish of Rooksdown. Running the Community Centre, Youth Club and organising other activities and events.

With this website we aim to share information and news about our community. You will find regular updates about what’s going on, details about the Community Centre, useful links as well as classified adverts from other residents and local businesses.

Our AGM will be held on Monday 17th June at 7.30pm at the Community Centre.

Action for Children - Children's Centre

PLAY BUS
Stops at Rooksdown Community Centre 1pm - 1.45pm

This fun session on our travelling play bus will give you the chance to access an educational experience for children 0-5, share and borrow library books, take part in a Story Sack session.

Keep Britian Tidy Litter Pick on 6th July

Saturday 6th July 1pm
Why not come and join the Youth Club on a litter pick to tidy up Rooksdown.

Our last litter pick was very successful and over 9 full bags of rubbish were collected, helping to clean up the visual appearance of the local environment.
 
So come and join us to pick up even more this time.

We will be starting from the Community Centre at 1pm
