All you need to know about the Rooksdown Community

Latest news is shown on the main pages but you can find more news and up and coming events by following the links.

The Rooksdown Reporter is our Parish Magazine that is published 3 times a year. They are normally delivered through your letter box. If you have not received a recent copy you can collect one from the Community Centre or read the latest edition here.

If you have thought about volunteering we would love to hear from you. Whether you can spare a couple of hours a week or a month maybe to help out at the Youth Club or assist in hosting a coffee morning or if you would like to get an activity off the ground you will be greatly welcomed. Why not come into the Centre to discuss how you can help?

Road Closed - The Avenue (Hospital Bumpy Road)

31 March 2015 at 13:23

APRIL

Work to repair and rebuild The Avenue - between the Lodge building and the Pumphouse Way roundabout – has commenced.

Please be aware that this will mean the road being closed and diversions.

Access routes into and out of North Hampshire and Parklands Hospitals and St Michael’s Hospice will be maintained but there will inevitably be some diversion to normal routes e.g. no access heading west into Rooksdown and no vehicle access to Hospitals from A339.

It is hoped the road will re-open at the end of April 2015.

BUS ROUTE - changes

Route 4 / 4A - Loop around Park Prewett Road

The Link - Loop around Mill Road . Rooksdown Avenue Junction
