The Rooksdown Reporter is our Parish Magazine that is published 3 times a year. They are normally delivered through your letter box. If you have not received a recent copy you can collect one from the Community Centre or read the latest edition here.

If you have thought about volunteering we would love to hear from you. Whether you can spare a couple of hours a week or a month maybe to help out at the Youth Club or assist in hosting a coffee morning or if you would like to get an activity off the ground you will be greatly welcomed. Why not come into the Centre to discuss how you can help?

Please feel free to book a date for a party but due to the pandemic your booking will not be confirmed until nearer the date of your event.

Future confirmed bookings may also be subject to last minute cancellation.

New Community Facility

We are currently working on opening new facilities in 2019/2020 and we are taking expressions of interest for regular hirers and those agencies who may be looking for venues to deliver services in the community.

These new facilities:

17 & 19 Greenlands Road - new community units
Main Park Prewett Hall in Northbrook Crescent.

Keep an eye out for how these will be brought into use as the building work continues.

Blossom Day Nursery at the Community Centre

Check out the day nursery website on to see what services are offered.

Blossom is run in the Community Centre making nursery & school pick up from Castle Hill Primary - Rooksdown Campus very easy.

Blossom commitment:

Places are limited please book your child's hours as soon as you can.  Discount for NHS employees.
