Have you tried our Youth Club?

YC is Rooksdown's very own youth club for young people aged 11 - 18.

We aim to run YC every Monday, Wednesday and Friday evening.

Open from 7pm - 9pm for 11 - 15 year olds and 8pm - 10pm for 14 - 18 year olds.

It is the perfect setting for young people to meet up with their friends and make new friends safely.

We charge 50p per person (40p for RCA members), per session.

There is a range of activities each week to suit all ages and interest, things we do include:

It will be open as normal on Tuesday 5th May and Wednesday 6th May.

Rooksdown Community Assciation is looking for energetice & enthusiastic youth workers to join the team working with young people in Rooksdown, Winklebury and Popley.

You will work closely with the Lead Youth Worker and youth team to develop exciting & valuable community services.

Book Keeper and Accountant needed

Rooksdown Community Association is looking for a book keeper and accountant due to our long standing Treasurer standing down we are looking for someone with finance skills to take over the day to day finance role.

You will work with our Trustees, and support the organisation by carrying out financial transactions and ensuring they are legal, constitutional and within accepted accounting practice, keeping proper records and that effective financial procedures are in place, monitoring and reporting on the financial health of the organisation, and producing necessary financial reports/returns, accounts and audits.
